Hi, my name is Petar I am living in Austria. I must admit that it wasn't my affection towards Tandberg that brought me here but my dad's. He always admired Tandberg but only recently bought a used TR2040 in Serbia where he lives. Shortly after the receiver started having problems and now I am trying to repair it. I will open a separate topic about it.
As I have very little free time for the repair it will take time and my dad in the meantime already got himself another receiver so it is possible that Tandberg will stay with me.
Cheers
Welcome, any problems with TR let me know . I am happy to help !
Pawel
Hi Pawel, thanks. I saw that you have a lot of experience with Tandbergs. Maybe you can take a look in my topic:

Hello
Yep, I will try to help. Before you start any deeper investigation replace all capacitors at the amp power board. It may save time and money :). I am not saying that it's connected with your problem, but usually problems with transistors starts at the capacitor level ....
Pawel
Sorry I forgot to mention that I replaced all electrolitic capacitors in power amp.
Welcome Peca to the forum!
Sorry for late reply and I hope your repair is going well.
I hope also you will become a fellow Tandberg-fan now and keep the receiver!
